Stat cards explained
The stat cards at the top of your Dashboard are your headline numbers. Here's exactly what each one means and how Tradestacker works it out — no jargon, no surprises. All cards respect your current account filter, so they always reflect the trades you're looking at.
Net P&L
Your all-time profit or loss across the trades shown. It's simply the sum of every trade's net result (after fees and commissions, if you logged them). Green means you're up; red means you're down.
Win Rate
The percentage of your trades that were winners. It's shown with the underlying count too — for example, "42 of 70 trades" — so you can see the sample size behind the percentage.
💡 Tip: A high win rate isn't everything. A trader with a 40% win rate can still be very profitable if their winners are much bigger than their losers — that's what Profit Factor and Avg R:R help you see.
Profit Factor
Your gross winnings divided by your gross losses — that is, the total of all your winning trades divided by the total of all your losing trades.
- Above 1.0 = profitable (you won more than you lost).
- 1.0 = break-even.
- Below 1.0 = losing money overall.
A profit factor of 2.0 means you made $2 for every $1 you lost.
Avg R:R
Your average risk-to-reward ratio, shown as 1:X — for example, 1:1.8. It compares how much you typically make on winners against how much you typically risk or lose. A higher second number means your rewards outweighed your risks.
Avg Win
The average size of your winning trades — the total of your winners divided by the number of winning trades.
Avg Loss
The average size of your losing trades — the total of your losers divided by the number of losing trades. Comparing Avg Win to Avg Loss tells you whether your winners are bigger than your losers.
Max Drawdown
The largest peak-to-trough drop in your running balance — in other words, the biggest decline from a high point before you recovered. It's a measure of the worst stretch you've been through, and a good gut-check on how much risk you're carrying.
Total Trades
The total number of trades counted in the current view. This is the sample size behind every other stat — the bigger it is, the more meaningful your metrics become.
Current Streak
Your active run of consecutive wins or losses, shown as W# (e.g., W4 = four wins in a row) or L# (e.g., L2 = two losses in a row). It resets the moment the opposite result happens.
Why my numbers changed
Every stat card recalculates instantly when you:
- Add, edit, or delete a trade.
- Change the account filter.
So if a number looks different than you expected, check which account filter is active.
