Manage indicator chats
The Indicator Creator keeps your work organized in separate chats — one per indicator (or per idea you're exploring). That way you can build several indicators without their conversations getting tangled.
Working with chats
- Create a new chat — start a fresh conversation for a new indicator. The script and history stay separate from your other chats.
- Switch between chats — jump back to an earlier indicator to keep refining it; its full conversation is preserved.
- Rename a chat — give it a clear name like "RSI + EMA filter" so it's easy to find later.
- Delete a chat — remove one you no longer need.

Each chat remembers its Pine version
Every chat keeps its own Pine version setting (v5 or v6). So a chat you started in v5 stays in v5, and a separate v6 chat stays in v6 — switching between chats won't surprise you with a different version.
💡 Tip: Start a new chat for each distinct indicator rather than piling everything into one. It keeps each conversation focused, and the AI's refinements stay on-topic.
