Update your profile
Your profile holds the basics: your name, your contact details, and your timezone. You can update any of these in Settings β Account.
Open the Account section
- Click your profile card at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
- Select the Account section.

What you can change
- Display Name β the name shown on your profile card and around the app.
- Email β the address you sign in with and where Tradestacker reaches you.
- Phone Number β optional, used only if you opt in to text updates.
- Email & text updates consent β a checkbox: "I agree to receive text & email updates." Tick it to opt in, untick it to opt out.
- Timezone β this is display only. It controls how times appear in the app and when timed emails go out. Your trades are always stored in UTC, so changing your timezone never shifts your trade data.
π‘ Tip: Your timezone is auto-detected from your browser the first time you visit. You only need to change it if you're traveling or want a different display zone.
Save your changes
- Edit any of the fields above.
- Click Save Changes.
You'll see a confirmation that your profile was updated.
β οΈ Note: Currency display lives separately under Settings β Global settings, not the Account section. Your timezone here only affects how times are shown.
