Settings overview

Settings is your control center for how Tradestacker looks, what it emails you, and how your account behaves. This article gives you the lay of the land so you know exactly where to go.

Opening Settings

You can reach Settings two ways:

  1. Click your profile card at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose Settings.
  2. Or open the profile menu and select Settings from there.

Settings opens with a list of sections on the left and the content on the right.

The Settings sections

Appearance

Control the look and feel of the app — switch between the dark and light theme, turn on Compact Mode for denser layouts, and toggle Show P&L in Sidebar. See Appearance settings.

Account

Update your display name, email, phone number, your email/SMS consent, and your timezone (display only — your trades always stay in UTC). This is also where you change your password. See Update your profile and Change your password.

Export Data

Download a copy of your data anytime — your Trade Log as CSV, your notebook notes as Markdown, or a full JSON backup of everything. See Export your data.

Notifications

Choose which nudges you want: a Daily Journal Reminder, a Max Loss Alert, and a Win Streak Milestone celebration. See Notifications.

AI Coach

Tune your Nova co-pilot experience — including the weekly digest email and which insight categories he focuses on (patterns, risk alerts, strengths, and focus areas).

💡 Tip: Looking for email performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly recaps)? Those are a Premium feature — see Email performance reports.
