Create and edit a strategy
A strategy is simply a named setup you trade — like "Opening range breakout", "VWAP bounce", or "News fade". Once you've created your strategies, you can tag trades to them and watch the performance numbers build. Here's how to manage your strategy list.
Create a strategy
- Open the Strategies page from the sidebar.
- Click New strategy (or the add button).
- Enter a name and an optional description of the setup and when you trade it.
- Save. Your new strategy appears as a card in the grid — see Strategies overview.

💡 Tip: Keep names short and consistent — you'll be picking them from a list every time you log a trade. A clear description helps future-you remember exactly what the setup is.
Edit a strategy
- Open the strategy (click its card).
- Choose Edit.
- Update the name, description, or rules — see Strategy performance and rules.
- Save your changes.
Reorder your strategies
Drag a strategy card to move it. Put your most-used or most-important strategies first so they're always easy to reach.
Delete a strategy
- Open the strategy.
- Choose Delete.
- Confirm.
⚠️ Note: Deleting a strategy removes the strategy itself. Review your trades first if you want to re-tag them to another strategy so your performance numbers stay accurate.
