Data not syncing

Your Tradestacker data — trades, notes, accounts, and more — syncs automatically across every device you sign into. Deletions sync too. If something looks out of date on one device, here's how to set it right.

The golden rule: same account everywhere

Sync only works when you're signed into the same account on each device. If your trades aren't showing up somewhere, the most common cause is being signed in with a different email (for example, a Google account on one device and an email/password account on another).

  1. On the device that's missing data, open your profile card in the sidebar.
  2. Check the email shown.
  3. Make sure it matches the account where your data lives. If not, sign out and sign back in with the right account.

If something still looks out of date

Try these, in order:

  1. Refresh the app — close and reopen it (or reload the page). Sync runs in the background, and a refresh pulls the latest.
  2. Check your internet connection — sync needs a live connection. Reconnect and give it a moment.
  3. Confirm you're signed in — if your session expired, you may be viewing only what was saved locally. Sign back in.

Once you're signed into the correct account and connected, your data — including any deletions — comes back into sync on its own.

💡 Tip: New trades, notes, and accounts sync automatically as you create them. There's no manual "sync" button to press.
