Trash and restore

Deleting a note in Tradestacker isn't permanent right away. Deleted notes move to the Trash, giving you a safety net in case you change your mind.

How deleting works

When you delete a note, it leaves your folders and lands in the Trash. It still counts as gone from your main Notebook, but it's recoverable until you empty the Trash.

Restore a deleted note

  1. Open the Trash.
  2. Find the note you want back.
  3. Choose Restore — the note returns to your Notebook.

💡 Tip: If a restored note doesn't appear where you expect, check the All Notes and Inbox folders. See Create and organize notes.

Empty the Trash

To permanently remove deleted notes and free up your entry count on the Free plan, choose Empty trash.

⚠️ Note: Emptying the Trash is permanent — those notes can't be recovered afterward. Make sure there's nothing in there you want to keep first.

Deletions sync across devices

Because Tradestacker syncs your data, a note you delete on one device moves to the Trash everywhere, and restoring or emptying syncs too.
