Notebook overview
The Notebook is your trading journal inside Tradestacker. It's a calm, distraction-free place to write down what happened in your trading day, why you took a trade, what you'd do differently, and what you're planning next. Keeping a journal is one of the highest-impact habits a trader can build, and the Notebook is designed to make it easy and even enjoyable.
What you can do in the Notebook
- Write rich, formatted notes — bold, headings, colors, highlights, lists, checklists, links, images, tables, and code. See The rich text editor.
- Organize with folders — group notes into your own folders, plus the built-in All Notes, Inbox, and Templates folders. See Create and organize notes.
- Reuse templates — start recurring entries (daily review, weekly review, trade plan) from a saved layout. See Note templates.
- Record voice notes — speak your thoughts and Tradestacker transcribes them automatically. See Voice notes.
- Tag and search — filter by tag, show starred notes only, and search by title in real time. See Tag and search notes.
- Share a note — publish a read-only public link for a mentor or trading buddy, and revoke it whenever you like. See Share a note.
- Recover deleted notes — deleted notes wait safely in the Trash until you restore or empty it. See Trash and restore.

Everything syncs across your devices
Notes you write on your laptop show up on your phone and any other device you sign into — automatically. Edits and deletions sync too, so your journal is always up to date wherever you are.
What you get on each plan
- Free — up to 10 notebook entries, with the full editor, folders, search, tags, and templates.
- Premium — unlimited notebook entries, plus higher voice-note transcription limits. Premium is $14.99/month, or $9.99/month billed yearly ($119.88/year).
💡 Tip: Even one short note per trading day adds up fast. A quick "what worked / what didn't / one thing to fix tomorrow" is a great starting habit.
